This is a new look at one of our most well known homes.  This owner lightened up the exterior colors and brightened up the interior ones.  We love their take on it so wanted to share with you. 

You'll also find more detailed photographs than we had for the original Palo Duro.  I've been asked more than once, for instance, if the pantry is large enough.  There's a photo here so you can judge for yourself.   The small owners' porch has been expanded by this buyer with a private courtyard accessible only from the master.    A number of things that were altered in the field on the original build were done "to plan" in this home including the stone arch between great room and kitchen.  And, some things were enhanced.  The addition of an outdoor kitchen, for instance. 

But, the big news on this one is that the owners and builder, Todd Eidson of Sierra Homes in Fredericksburg, managed to get a HERS rating of 19 on this house!  It has rainwater collection, photovoltaics, a super tight building envelope, great mechanicals and everything you need to make this hilltop home as efficient as it can be.
